The Rais 2:1 insert fireplace is a DEFRA approved stove/insert fireplace. DEFRA is the UK government’s Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and in relation to wood stoves, fireplaces and multifuel stoves is concerned with smoke emissions in accordance with the Clean Air Act 1993. A DEFRA approved stove is a wood stove approved for the burning of wood in smoke controlled areas. The Rais 2:1 is available with one door fixed ( must be specified at the time of order).
