Well, we finally finished all the work on our new showroom, and opened our doors on 19 May 2012.
We’ve had such an extraordinary level of support from the other independent businesses on Burton Road with Helen and Pete at Didsbury Life and Wearelife helping us to get organised with our Brand, Website and Twitter account to mention just a few of the things they do. We certainly didn’t need to go anywhere else in order to refurbish our showroom beautifully with Matt from David Gavin Interior Design supplying our stunning wallpaper, Hazel from Moth supplying the most amazing chandeliers and Gregg at Cactus Design doing a sterling job with our signage – why go beyond Didsbury!?!
To top it all we have the best eateries and bars around us with Burton Road Bakery across the road being a bit too handy, Love 2 Eat, Folk, The Rose Garden, Dish Ran Away with the Spoon and the lovely, newly opened The Violet Hour – all frequented by us probably a bit more than planned in these few weeks that we’ve been open!
The Stove Room is now filled with a wide range of the beautiful, the efficient and the ecological, all features we set out as our priority during our search for the best wood burning and multi fuel stoves on the market. All our stoves are between 75% and 85% efficient which means you don’t waste precious fuel or reduce your carbon footprint.
Such a great stream of friendly people have been through our doors over the last month with many just calling in to say hello and wish us well and to let us know how much they love their wood burners. It seems that everyone with a wood burner definitely has a real passion for it and really appreciates the benefits it brings into their home.
We’ll be blogging about the stoves we’ve installed since we opened and we’re already building a nice collection of before and after pics so watch this space…..
